So…. my sister and I are fasting our way through Lent this year (to make a commitment to ourselves to eat better and be healthier and oh yeah, teach us self control). OMG it’s been only three days since food and it’s so hard when you see your family eating burgers, onion rings and all that good stuff! We drink 16oz of green juice four times a day, but thankfully we eat on the weekends..and holy shit, my mom made the yummiest rice and salad today and my brother and I went to an Asian market to buy some fried Tilapia and man o man we feasted! OH MAN, and she also made her amazing salsa and guacamole and I was in heaveeen! Anyway…. I miss food lol.. I really don’t care what people say when I tell them I’m fasting… It’s my decision and whatevs MANG! It’s not like I’m giving up food for life, just 40 days….minus the weekends :)
sometimes i hate being on facebook because all my facebook friends make it seem like their lives are so glamorous and soo successful and i can’t help but think of how much of a loser i am, when in reality …ugh idk. whatevs!
